One, dos, trois...

{source}

I'm in the midst of learning my third language; English being my first, Spanish my second, and French my third.  I'm having an interesting time of it.  It's entertaining how sometimes Spanish slips in there unannounced.  It was kinda cute at first, but now it's just plain annoying.

There must be some part in my brain where wires are getting crossed.  It's probably like one of those old-timey switchboards.  "I'll connect you."  Gah... wrong hole!

It's getting to be a habit where if I don't know the word I want to use in French, I will grab the word in Spanish without really even thinking about it.  It does make for some pretty entertaining sentences once in a while, but probably won't get me an A in the course.

Normalcy!

Okay so it wasn't Johnson, it was Harding. And it wasn't made up, it was "rescued from obscurity."

Thank god for the internet.

The Tree of... Life?

Source: East Gwillimbury
Instead of a planet in a galaxy, we actually live on leaves of a tree floating in space.  The veins of the leaves are actually streets, the branches are hi-ways.  Our homes, schools, shopping centers are all comprised of clusters of pores and the cuticles of the leaves.

So, you can imagine how terrifying Fall is, then.
